Problem

There is a good set of online educational platforms and IT courses on the Internet, but mostly they pale because of being on entry level with poor practical knowledge. MentorWanted.net allowed to improve development skills and gain experience under the direction of professional mentors.

Stakeholders

Stakeholders of the Mentor Wanted project were:
  • trainees;
  • mentors - people who shared the experience;
  • companies which would like improving skills of their employees.

What we have done

The project gives the possibility for people with the lack of experience to obtain practical skills as well as stimulate the learning process. This can be done with a mentor or with a group of trainees as far as group learning is always easier.

Mentor Wanted allows the trainees to work on real projects. This platform was developed in two months by the team of one mentor and 7 trainees with little or no experience. It means that beginners can improve their development skills in a short period of time, while also achieving real results.
